Week 11 Participation and Week 12 Online Class Available

Several important announcements for this week...

1. The online participation component for this week's class has been posted. Please see the Discussion Forum for "Week 11's Online Discussion" to complete the participation requirement for class this week.


2. In order to make it easier for me to grade, I've assigned your participation grades from last night -25% (e.g., if you performed 100% last night, your grade today says "75%"). On Monday I will tabulate the participation in the online participation and everyone who successfully completed the online discussion will receive an additional 25% to their current score (even if your current score is 0%).


3. There is no class meeting next week. Instead, we are meeting virtually to discuss the ethics of malware and web advertising. Please see the "Course Documents" area (link below) for instructions to complete Week 12's class.


4. Your team presentations are due Week 13. Be sure to follow the instructions for the content very carefully. Devote most of your time to the analysis of the implementation, not telling me about the technology.


5. I will be available over the next two weeks to answer any questions you have about the projects or the online module. Please, don't hesitate to ask. Email is usually the best way to contact me, but remember I don't check email after about 5pm on Friday until Monday morning (and this semester I have class from 8-12 on Monday).
